HOW TO SYNCHRONISE AN ATOMIC CLOCK

An atomic clock is that picks up microwave signals to keep time.  If it does not work proprly, trouble shoot it with fresh batteries in both in atomic clock and outdoor reciver sensor.  When replacing batteries, first replace the battery in the out door reciver sensor, and wait a period of 15 minutes before replacing battery in the clock.

It is a good idea to refer the instruction manual of the specific clock, before doing anything.  Electronic versions of corresponding model can be downloaed from internet.

  • Remove the old batteris from the atomic clock.
  • Ensure that out door sensor is located outside within the range of 100 feet from the clock, and well above ground level.  The sensor must reside outside in the open air, but should be protected.
  • Replace the old battery from the outside sensor with a new battery.  Alkaline batteries are best to atomic clocks.  Wait it least 10 minutes before proceeding to next step.
  • Replace the old battery in clock.  allow up to 30 minutes for an atomic clock to communicate with the outdoor recever sensor and establish a connection.
